If anyone from Trademe is reading this I would like to know why he hasn't been kicked off the site???

The sad comments were back again today on the auction and have again been removed by TM admin. The same strange anti-kiwi statements, I guess he's been reading the forums eh mate? Someone has too much time on their hands...

Totally off topic...kind of...

I'm involved in a Street Fighter (the game) community, and a similar thing happened.

An Aus guy living in NZ got called out for talking smack in the stream chat, about one of the kiwi guys who was competing on stream in an AU tournament.
He pretended to apologize when confronted in an NZ forum, and then continued his silly antics in an AU forum - which was moderated by an expat Kiwi! Hahaha.

Seems some people just don't get the concept of community, and what it stands for.

Edited heavily by Trademe several times in the same day, must be a new record? Some nasty stuff on there at one point, feeling threatened by getting sprung selling fake SW stuff perhaps?

Now the Aussie guy's selling misrepresented/fake Timpo and Thunderbirds toys on trademe. Calling his 2000s Corgi FAB1 an original 1960s issue mib and his cheap Hong Kong knockoff cowboy fort as a 'rare' Timpo fort. Yeah they are both very rare considering they never made any ha. Think we have a serial offender here - reported both listings to trademe. Oh well at least no one fell for his fake ESB Luke. That would have been tragic...

i joined in making a complaint, its too bad trade me wont do anything about it. :(
It'd be really nice if they didn't allow him to sell on the site anymore he likely found trade me after being kicked off ebay. (just my guess)

Hey as he's saying there is no gst or duty to pay on the fake Thunderbirds Corgi FAB1 - 'he guarantees it', can you ask him to guarantee that it's a genuine 1960s toy? Would love to see his answer, would do it myself but I have blacklisted the guy...
