Do you need to be a 501st or Rebel Legion member to attend the evening events?

For the 501st/RL events/mixers etc in the evenings, in the past, members were allowed to buy tickets for themselves, partners/kids/friends etc - but the 501st bash at the last Celebration was 18+ (we didn't attend, as we had Juliet with us - though we found out after the fact there was a child minding service). There is often 2 events - a family friendly dinner (smaller numbers generally), and the more adult party/mixer at a later hour. They often have event-specific merchandise, and Star Wars celebrities in attendance

Oooo, that's something to consider. I'm not a member, but that could be easily rectified before April 2015.
