I’m looking forward to hearing how it was for everyone else, too!
The main reason I/we go to Celebrations is the level of uninterrupted immersion, and the fact that you're experiencing it with others who appreciate it on the same level as you do. If I could live in a Celebration-like world where everything is Star Wars flavoured, I don't think I'd have a problem with it at all.
This convention had its pros and cons compared with previous iterations. Everyone saw that it was a victim of its own success, and that ReedPop failed to accommodate the increased numbers and excitement to consume all the space/number-limited offerings.
I'm still working my way through thousands of photos...I've managed to get a couple of chronologically-arranged galleries online so far: Day 1, Day 2. More to come
I can't describe how I feel about this pic. I was in armor pretty much for 6 hours straight prior to finally meeting Mr Hamill and it was so so worth it.
I now have post celebration withdrawl. The only cure is to go to Celebration London next year ;-)

I heard it's back in Denver...

For the sake of my marriage, I better stay put in NZ for the premiere + I wanna support our local troops and have the Kiwi buzz while watching it
You and Mark go hard!
I feel ya, man.
It looks like Kiwis will see it almost two days before me, anyway!
I've got to admit that we're both suffering from post Celebration blues as well. It's been a wild few weeks. After the awesome time that we had in Anaheim with our new friends we will have to set our sights on Celebration 9, as long as it is in America or somewhere closer to home.

Sunday, the final day, started early by getting in an hour before the doors opened to get some stuff from the Celebration Store. It paid to do so, as for the first three days, with the first being the worst, most people were averaging around three to four hours of waiting to buy a few shirts or an Admiral Ackbar sushi set – the latter was pretty cool, mind you – but often finding that most items were gone.
While I'll happily line up for a cool event, such as the Opening Ceremonies, I wasn’t keen on waiting for some swag. But getting in early meant I was in and out before the main doors opened!
I was there to pick some stuff up for others, but I did get myself a cool tee, which is my first tee with just the title treatment on it.
