The last lot I bought of both modern and vintage compatible protechs, were actually exactly the same apart from the foot peg size. It would certainly be nice if the Vintage ones were smaller.

The nicest stands I've seen are 'The Real Action Stand'(on the left), but it looks like they've shut up shop.

I inherited a few with some loose vintage figures that I bought.

I have some spare protechs for modern figures, but unfortunately just enough Vintage ones to suffice for my collection.
From memory the bulk lot that I bought cost me around $4.50 each. So it certainly adds up.

If I need more for Vintage, I think I'll find a suitable diameter dowel and modify my spare modern stands. Or possibly even drill and dowel some permanent positions into my display shelves. :)

Thanks for pointing out that difference Barry. Harvey - I should note that the Protech vintage stands I have are those with the larger footprint. I hope that still suits your purposes!

I was a big fan of the 'Real' stands...I liked their tapered edge...shame they don't produce them any more.

It'll work, for sure. I only have one figure, the only STAR WARS possession I own at the moment, so it'll go his the bottom of that.

Thanks again!

Speaking of vinyl capes, this (from Rebelscum.com) is all that's left when a vintage force-user dies...

:)

Thanks for the heads-up on the cape and saber!

He needs a clean, but Vader loves his new threads and weapon o' choice!

(Excuse the use of the flash, too.)
