Wow, actual kids! That's good. :) It's sometimes easy to lose sight of the fact these things we buy are intended for them!

Just checked out Toyworld Wellington. They are busy setting up for tonight. I saw a life size standee of the new Stormtrooper, a Lego Poe's X-Wing standee. I also saw the new Lego Snow speeder that was made up and inside a display box. They had a small Lego display box thing that had Rey, Kylo Ren, Poe and Unkar's Thug inside. They look awesome! Their door security alarm things are covered with Lego Force Awakens stuff too!

LEGO is at the top of their game. They're doing excellent work and that X-Wing looks fabulous.

I must've walked right by you! I just took exactly the same photos down there.

(P.S. Be sure to come and say hi if you spot me tonight - I'll be the guy wearing this t-shirt.)

While neither will be holding a midnight event, both the Tory Street Warehouse and Cuba Street Farmers have cleared shelf space for Force Friday.

And yeah, I snuck a peek behind that black curtain - but the shelves were empty!

Also, it turns out Farmers will have 20% - 40% off all toys (presumably including The Force Awakens merchandise) from September 4th - 7th.

It's not quite as good as the deal at The Warehouse, but it could be a great back-up option if certain items become difficult to find.

A straight percentage has more flexibility than a BOGOHF sale, even if the percentage turns out to only be 20%. That's great info, Arc. I was gonna call in on Farmers Friday or Saturday anyhow, but now it offers us an even more attractive Plan B. Thanks!

No problem. I'm pretty sure the info is rock solid, as the advertising is already throughout the store.
