GamePlanet.co.nz has an Old Republic "Launch Documentary" trailer. (They also have another 30 video clips you can get to from that page.)

Well im lvl 45 now and have founded a new guild <Exchange> yes! the notorious criminal organization haha. its a casual raid guild we plan to do operations on the weekends probably saturday nights.

Having great fun anyway, ive got over 50 active people mostly from the oceanic region to join so far.

Still on the harbringer so if youve got your imperial toons with no guilds still give me a yell in game on Manic Raa.

Cool :) I caved and made characters for all 8 classes on the Harbinger, but I've been playing my jedi knight sentinel Anaria most of the time (level 33) to get my legacy name Zar-rel :) Now that I have that locked in, I may go back and start playing some of my Imperial characters. Did my first flashpoints a couple of days ago with my smuggler, so I'm just getting into that, have yet to brave any actual pvp yet. Love having a speeder (so glad that the CE items are sent to all of your characters).

Cool. I saw you online and added Manic as a friend with one of my characters the other night.

I've got my Bounty Hunter ("Toombs", below) to lvl 35 so far, and have been leveling up a number of other classes, including a Sith Warrior ("Dredd").

It's really cool when you first get your in-game ship (a little while back now).

I see im not the only one who re-moded a set of gladiator warrior armor for bountyhunters haha. I went back to mostly BH gear but im still using those gloves.

Il add you Matt on Toombs tomorrow when the servers back up, hopefully guild chat and the guild UI are fixed.

A Mac version is coming ... at some stage.

This is from MacWorld.co.uk ...
Mac route to The Old Republic
There is a new hope for Mac gamers who yearn for a slice of Star Wars: The Old Republic.

There is a new hope for Mac gamers who wish to get involved in the online world of Star Wars: The Old Republic.

Since Bioware launched the subscription-based MMO game on December 20 last year, more than a million PC-based players have spent over 60 million in-game hours playing The Old Republic.

Now BioWare co-founder Ray Muzyka has been speaking to Joystiq about a potential Mac version of the company's latest major release.

"We know there's a big Mac audience of BioWare fans ... we know that's an important and large audience. And we want to serve that audience," Muzyka told the article author Ben Gilbert.

Neither Muzyka or co-founder Greg Zeschuk would reveal a timetable on the Mac version, but the aricle quotes Zeschuk stating: "That's definitely one of the things we're looking at next. We want to get this launch under our belt and everything stabilised and happy, and then we'll look at other platforms, and [the Mac is] obviously one of the first ones."
Blizzard release all their games as Windows and Mac versions at (usually) the same time, even as dual-format install discs, so Bioware are just being lazy. ;)

Nice looking armour.

I've been bringing my Sith Warrior Juggernaut up a few levels (mid-20s at the moment), and getting used to using him as a Tank (yeah, I know that class isn't as ideally qualified as others like the PowerTech, but I'm starting to get a feel for his skills and actions).

Juggernaut is a single target tank and the powertech is an aoe multiple target tank. both highly qualified imo. The assassin tank is kinda hybrid in between the two.

And thanx Matt the armor is orange moddable bits ive collected and remodded with LVL 50 mods.

The pistols a d-200 military enforcer also remodded for lvl 50....its the same gun in my sig and on the CE box.
Im thinking of building a replica version of it...its got such a nice style and lots of little leds and things which i love.
