the kfc cards came in black , or dark grey plastic wrapping . I still have a few lying around . I also have a different size box from the 1999 promo.

also Matt, I have a few scans of the uncle tobys cards to scan for you . It was impossible to get a set in NZ I believe. I searched high and low for the missing cards . They seem to be very scarce even in Australia .

The Dick Smith promo was basically just the poster and the phonecard .

Yeah, that Uncle Toby's promotion was quite frustrating...even with a bit of networking and trading, it's been hard to assemble a full set of cards.

Man, this thread brings back so many memories of that Lucasfilm marketing blitzkrieg in early '99.

I picked up this poster recently, which corresponds to the meal box Michael posted above. Anyone remember seeing this particular poster in KFC stores, and/or buying the party pack it advertises?
