I have to admit the Action Fleet were my favourites, i also loved the transforming heads and micro machines playsets, my first two were the Hoth playset and the Darth Vader/bespin transforming heads.

My Star Trek MM shadow box display inches ever closer to completion. It's hanging on the wall now and I was putting ships in last nmight. Just need to baffle the lighting a bit more so the LEDS don't beam into your face when looking at the cabinet. So close to being done now. :)

Thanks to a great seller on trademe, and thanks for the extra reminder Archon i managed to get myself two of the four last "fighters" i wanted a Y-wing and normal Tie Fighter.
As well as another B/X-wing/Tie bomber but nothing wrong with doubles. ^_^

I'm still missing the two i'm rare ones from the last release i think?, Tie defender/E-wing.
and doubles are great i have three, but i hope to one day have 12 X-wings (and a similar or higher number of ties!)

I got myself a titanium Defender because there was no other option. ^_^
I'll take some photos next week of what becomes of my attempt to hang some ships lol

on a side note, was anyone after the "Republic Assault Ship" ? (http://www.starwarsactionfleet.com/swaf ... t=Punch+It!)
Mine doesn't fit into my collection i might sell it at some stage, but i thought i'd give anyone who might want it a heads up first.

Glad those auctions worked out for you Dawfydd! The Action Fleet Y-Wing and TIE Fighter are both incredibly cool additions to any collection.

I'd love to get hold of a Defender and an E-Wing to finish off my collection, but with asking prices of between $150-$200 I just can't justify the outlay :(

Indeed, and even if you find them the shipping helps hikes the price even higher lol
Ebay seems to be a no go for action fleet, sadly.

however..

I finally took a bit of time this weekend to make a little progress on my MicroMachines displays. I've got 3 display cases, but the third has sat incomplete for a number of years. Still got a way to go...it's a slow process of drilling, positioning, gluing etc to get all the perspex rods in place. In searching through my un-displayed MM figures, I've been able to add a few more in to the two display cases that have all of their ships mounted too.

This is the incomplete one display case (with the cover off)...might even get it finished during the week.
