I have finally been catching up on the earlier series (hey I'm catching up on Firefly too ) and have seen some of the SDCC 11 footage but here is the full trailer
Things I am happy for:
Togruta- seems they are using the Clone wars comic where Shili is enslaved and Anakin and Ahsoka go undercover. The one with the controversial costume for Ahsoka. Not sure if they follow the whole plot but it does look like they are using part.
Squiddy love! Well Mon Calamari homeworld and underwater battles. Apparently bubbles will keep the show PG during the battles.
The trailer looks spectacular doesn't it? Thanks for the link.
I seriously doubt they would adopt that ridiculous and deeply inappropriate costume for Ahsoka of which you speak (I certainly hope they don't in any case), but yeah, it does look like that comic might be a source of inspiration. They have also said that there will be an episode this season that was drawn from a comic, so this could well be it.
IGN have a small interview up with Dee Bradley Baker where he chats about season 4 BUT more importantly they have nice pics of the armour upgrade and Rex's sweet ARC 1.5 helmet : http://tv.ign.com/articles/119/1192630p1.html

Cheers

Ive just noticed it, but I love that Rex has just made alterations to his existing helmet by welding on the the larger vocoder and aerators and changing the fin! You can see the discolouration and scoring all around the mouth region. So cool
I had taken that to be decorative piping but considering Dave Filoni had said at SDCC that Rex had welded his helmet together out of old and new elements, I think you may just be absolutely right in that observation Hads. What I had taken to be a metaphoric statement turns out be a literal welding. It'll be interesting to see where they take Rex this season, considering the allusions made by Baker in that interview.

Metaphoric,literal, still awesome either way
Yeah Im really looking forward to watching season 4, so much so Im gonna start over from season 1 right now
Hopefully it'll start around the end of the year (which fits in with previews being shown at Celebration VI).
hey that's great news. i really like the clone wars series; a few wobbly bits but the creators genuinely care about the work and the franchise and it shows!
This bit is particularly cool...
...has Obi-Wan planting himself in this group of bad guys in the Republic prison to find out what the Separatists are up to. ...fans will notice that his disguise uses the helmet Ralph McQuarrie originally designed for Boba Fett.
