I always look forward to FCBD - a great excuse to check out recent comics, and pick up those issues I never get around to buying online. We went along at opening - didn't see any adults in costume (unless you count a Darth Vader voice changer helmet), but neat to see quite a few kids in costume - Spiderman, Batman etc :) It was really busy when they opened at 10am - had to wait outside for a few minutes for the line to get inside. The store stayed quite full while fans stayed to browse - the store was still full when we left some time later.

We got a copy of the Clone Wars comic, 2000AD, and Juliet came away very happy with 4 issues - Mickey Mouse, Justice League, Kung Fu Panda & Simpsons. We also made use of the sales, and picked up a couple of Star Wars trade paperbacks at 25% off :)
