I mulled over buying a vintage figure from trade-me a while back not knowing if I really wanted or more to the point needed it haha and after a few days I finally buckled and got it. To my suprise when I recieved the payment instructions I also got an email from the seller offering me any of his other vintage figures that he didn't list on trade-me for $3-$5 each, He had 37 vintage for me to choose from ....I was stoked and so happy that I brought the first figure I didn't really need.
Has anyone else had a similar purchase or even the other way and recieved something less that you were expecting and were totally gutted that you got it??

Re: Purchases -Suprises and Disappointments
I bought a AOTC Jango Fett "with electronic jet-pack" off trade me and I paid and waited a while and got the item. I can't say how disappointed I was with the figure the body sculpt was OK I guess but he has a big hole in his back for the jet-pack and his legs don't move any direction at all! so all in all a fail on Hasbro's part.
I have had mostly good experiences on trade me still looking for bulk lots of stormtroopers in NZ there's a few on Ebay but they're not cheap.

There was a guy on Trade me last week who had a bulk lot of Stormtroopers for sale (He said around 20) He put around 5 on when his bulk sale didn't go through so I'll let you know when he sells anymore gear so you can ask about the Troopers if you like.BobaFett420 wrote:I bought a AOTC Jango Fett "with electronic jet-pack" off trade me and I paid and waited a while and got the item. Not a "purchase", but still a nice surprise ...
There's an American forum / message board I belong to and a couple of years ago the main forum members all arranged to meet up at the big annual Star Wars Celebration III expo. Of course, I couldn't go, but a few days later the board's admin asked me for my address and a week or two later a small package arrived with various bits from the expo - mostly just the give away stuff which was interesting, but they had also bought me an exclusive Celebration III electronic 3 3/4" Darth Vader figure and a Jedi Mickey Mouse plush toy ... and they had all signed the expo programme catalogue as well.

I bought a few Action Fleet vehicles off of Trade Me last year and was pleasantly surprised to find the seller had included a number of smaller Micro Machine vehicles in the parcel as well. Turns out he remembered me mentioning I was a bit of a collector and had decided that it was best his other Star Wars collectibles went to a good home too!
