I popped into EB Games to check out if there were any new Funkos to see and while I didn't find any I did stumble across some enamel Pop Pins for $10 each....I've not brought any before but at that price I kinder had to.
The packaging looks great and the pins were better than I expected. They had more depth to them then I thought and look great with the Funko branded stand.

Re: Funko Pops
Leia and Han do look great but I'd have to say that Greedo is my favourite of the three. His colours are really bright and he has a bit more laying than the other two.

Re: Funko Pops
These are more impressive than the online images suggest. Discount pricing is definitely better than original RRP though! They are continuing to do these, with a bunch of Ep1 figures recently announced (including Maul, which look quite good).

Re: Funko Pops
I do like the Han and Leia pins but not sure if I'd feel the same way if I paid $30 for them (price on Mighty Ape) but the Greedo pin is fantastic and I wouldn't have any issues paying that amount for him.
I did see they're releasing a few more that look interesting.....I do think they're a "see in person" kind of thing rather than going off the concept pictures.

Re: Funko Pops
Concept R2 arrived today.
I was hesitate to pick up this pop because the online pictures I looked at didn't really show much detail as there's next to no paint apps on him but in person he stands out so much better.
Essentially he's just an R2 figure with arms but he still looks really good....I haven't really picked up a lot of the concept series but this figure is definitely a must buy. I would have liked to have seen the concept art they based BB8 on but I suppose that would have been just a BB8 pop lol

Ooh, he's more chromy (chrome-er?) than I thought.
Cool photos BTW.

Re: Funko Pops
That was my main concern as well....if he was just dull grey he would have been pretty boring.
Cheers, I'm trying to make my pictures look a bit better than my earlier attempts lol.
This is the concept I'd really liked to have seen....just because it's so much different to the actual R2.

Re: Funko Pops
A pop arrived this morning and I could have sworn I already owned him but it turns out I didn't lol.
Cassian Andor was such a great character in Rogue One and his figure is just as good. I really like the detailing in his clothing, especially the holster for his fantastic looking pistol.
I have the blue version of the Cassian pop so this new brown jacketed figure is going to display really well beside him.....the Imperial Cog insert card is another fun example of the manufacturers not caring about who goes with what haha.

Re: Funko Pops
Three pops were delivered today.....
First off was the Princess Leia Echo Base Deluxe figure. This is one I picked up purely because she was on sale. Its a great idea but to have the screen infront of Leia kinder seemed a bit odd to me, even when it's displayed side on most of the pop is hidden. It's great to add to the Empire Funko collection though and she'll fit in well with the others.
The console does look great and has a lot of good details.

Re: Funko Pops
The second pop is one I've wanted for a while.
The flocked Baby Nippet and he's even better than I thought he'd be. It's a really sturdy well made figure and the flocked effect looks incredible. I buy quite a lot of Ewok merchandise and this figure would have to be one of my all time favourites.
The basket looks great and it's easy to see the fur and the blanket.....if he wasn't flocked they might have blended in a bit.
