Been working on the Mandalorian blaster for an upcoming troop today.
The stock is laminated out of two thicknesses of 22mm plywood, then shaped with a small belt sander and a linisher.
I found a couple of 27mm tent pegs that are perfect for the main barrel.
I ended up with too much plywood, so used the remainder to make a second stock, for finishing later on. Updates to follow.

That's looking really nice.
Interested about the droid head in the background....

Re: Mandalorian long blaster scratch build
Thanks Matt. It's coming along nicely and I have managed to drill the two holes for the barrel and secondary barrel nicely parallel. Starting to greeblie it up a bit tomorrow.
The droid on the bench is my second attempt at making a foam commando droid, following William Jakespeare's YT tutorial. He doesn't publish templates, so it's a bit off compared to his. https://youtu.be/I6yweprzN3k
I love his tutorials. He's a very clever guy.

Couple more progress shots. I've just delivered the blaster to Indy for some of his weathering and finishing touches, as he's the one who'll be wearing it this weekend. It's not accurate, I know, but it should get across the general theme.

So I just received this picture of the blaster, fresh from being improved by Indy. I hardly recognised it, he's done such a nice job. It'll look great in the parade this coming weekend.

Have to admit, I was a little hesitant as to how this weapon would translate from The Holiday Special to The Mandalorian, but the design has really grown on me. Your version is superb, and the finishing totally looks the part.

Re: Mandalorian long blaster scratch build
Slightly off topic, but here's the IG11 head that one of the Jawas will be carrying. It was a quick job to make the eye stalks, and I am sure that Indy is probably painting and weathering it even as I am typing this.
