Hey batmanreturns, that's superb! Very smooth finish. Is there a build thread on this anywhere?

cheers blaxmyth, nope,no build thread anywhere.
i have been putting this together over several months to quench my artistic side that flares up now and again.
i have made serious efforts to kill it off over the years [the artistic side of my brain]
but it still rears its ugly head from time to time :p

have used online reference pics of DOOMGUY and my imagination as to how the whole shebang fits together.
not planning on using the suit anywhere, just a project to do when i feel inclined.

most of the suit is complete,im on the home stretch now. i intentionally made the reveal pic here a 'tease' rather than a pic of the
whole getup.

anyways, gonna rip and tear.......until it is done.

this is currently on my workbench, the kitchen table, and suchlike. mostly done now, just needs tweeks and paint app touch ups.
have scratch made the entire armored suit from big sheets of floor foam.
not accurate whatsoever, but looks 'doom' inspired no less.
cheers !
Very nice finishing! That looks great.

hands up if you've ever built a suit with the intention of getting one particular pic........

fans of doom will immediately understand this pic no doubt.
just a bit of fun on my part, and a chance to exercise my artsy muscle.

cheers.

edit: have included here a short video clip to illustrate this pic to anyone unfamiliar with doom 2016 gameplay.
clip is a lil long, the bit i am referring to starts around the 1:20 mark.
