If it's at all helpful to anyone looking for small-medium-sized custom glass cases, I've bought off the following seller on TradeMe...they do custom sizing if you put a question through to them. Quality of their product is high.

Zippo - did you purchase through a website, or auction?

Thanks Matt, have been looking for someone that can produce custom glass cases to a high standard for awhile, never thought of Trade Me! Have just ordered a 1:1 scale Terminator bust from Hugh, so will see if he can produce one that size when it arrives. :D

Second attempt at displaying some Star Wars figures, now that I have the display stands. Not happy with this at all - wanted to have some more dynamic posing rather than the stiff statues they are at the moment.

Can only fit 21 per case with the extra space the stands take up, so not sure how this cases will work in the future or if I need to look at something else.

I think they look pretty good. We tend to have a mix of "scene"-type displays and "parade"-type displays on our shelves...nothing wrong with just displaying figures all lined up.

Agreed. 'Scenes' are great, but sometimes space constraints mean that 'parades' are the best way to go.

[Nice terms by the way Matt - think I'll have to add those to my collector's lingo :) ]

Well this weekend I tore down the case I had made up with my Star Wars figures in it. I have found something else that will use the display case size and shape better - my Lego.

So, at the moment all my 3 3/4 inch action figures have been sidelined to a underbed storage bin

Though I do have two figures on display - a Clone Trooper and Marvel Universe World War Hulk

Hey guys, found this thread while searching if there was an NZ source for Protech or acrylic cases for moc figures.. Thread's interesting..

Zippo these stands might be suitable for your case, the notched sides allow you to fit them together in a way that you can like set up a sorta stepped grandstand sorta way.. like steps..

Marauder inc are a bunch of guys that used to hang out on the rebelscum customs forums ..they did a cool version of the E-11 blaster but haven't seen those on their site for awhile..

And while I'm here.. does anyone know where to get Star cases or even acrylic cases in NZ? I don't mind the international prices bu$48 usd shipping...
