Oh, that's cool! Hadn't seen that one.

The "other guy" looks to be basically a McQuarrie concept Snowtrooper:
Yeah right of course - it also reminded me of the Snow Clones & Flame Cones:

So maybe some kind of special weapons/environment Trooper? Initially thought it was a Snowtrooper sans face skirt but its a different helm.

Cool either way - at least kids might be able to recognise the OG Troopers again and not just their parents :)

Yup, lots of cross-pollination and re-use of ideas going on. I like it. :)

Yeah, it is interesting that they have an OT Snowtrooper as well as that guy...I too wonder what his role/function/specialty might be.

I'm wondering if he might be the Rebels take on an AT-ST driver? I can see them opting for faceless drivers to keep consistency across the troopers.

Sabine looks awesome! Her and Zeb look to be my favorites of the new crew, and possibly Hera. It's really exciting to have brand new Star Wars characters in the pipeline :)

I showed my wife and kids the preview vids of the whole crew this weekend and they were all unanimously instant fans of Sabine. So cool that they made her an artist. It provides an aspect to her character that feels very fresh in the SW universe, which tends to define characters by their lightsabre prowess. Looking forward to the series. I'm just a little nervous that the cheaper production cost is going to result in lower production values. we have been so spoiled by how beautiful The Clone Wars came to look over the years, because George wasn't concerned about throwing a lot of monety at the show, one of the main reasons Disney canned it. Rebels was expressly created in order to be cheaper, and I just hope the compromise doesn't show too much.
