Cool stuff: Check
Yep I'll be there should be cool.
Might even throw the Fett on and see what sort of response he gets.

I've been selling off my costumes as it's been an expensive year and in fact is about to get more expensive with another specialist visit and a new passport- at least this one will get me through the quick lines- hooray!)
But I'm thinking about options

I can't imagine its easy selling something you have put a lot of blood seat and tears into.
Bazz:
I think thats a great idea, it would be good if a few other SWNZ fans show in costume, then I wont feel silly
Although I might enlist the help of the mini Jedi group lol
Kind Regards

It's not so hard when I look at the stack of 50L containers of half finished costumes they will be replaced by And they have all been appreciated so far which is really nice
I'm definitely keen on going, even if it is to window shop Any time people are planning on getting out there?

We'll probably aim to get there at the start for the good shopping. Maybe stick around for a couple of hours.mdb wrote:...Any time people are planning on getting out there?

I actually have never been to one, always intended too, but always missed it.
I just thought it was a swap meet/mini con.
On a sad note, looks like I have just spent my collectible money on some Halo collectibles......Doh!!!!

Re: Auckland swap meet (Underpants On The Outside)
It's basically a community hall with a bunch of tables of vendors.
Some private vendors selling bits of their collections, some small businesses.
All sorts of comic book/sci fi/fantasy/stuff.
The last couple years there's been a guy there(I think from Hasbro) with some real bargains. Last year he was flicking off Saga figures for $2-$5. He had one of those big AT-TEs for $50. cheap Comic packs. etc
I think he also provided an AT-TE for a door prize(which a mate of mine won.)
Hopefully he'll there again......
The year before I picked up a couple items from a guy who was sellling a HUGE POTF collection. He had 2-3 tables full of POTF and then a massive stack behind him that he kept filling the gaps with.
I've got a table with a couple friends so will be there prior to the doors opening.
If the weather cooperates I'll have R2 out on the sidewalk for a while to try and attract some attention.
