There was a small advert for this event in the classifieds at the back of yesterday's North Shore Times newspaper.

Enjoyed this event this morning. The Pop Kultcha team did a great job of putting on a market day and hosting Peter Sumner.
There was significant Star Wars representation amongst the merchandise available. Will post a few more photos when I've sorted through them.

That's awesome Matt! I must say that Auckland is really outdoing itself with fan/collector-based events these days.

I really enjoyed the event, tons of SW merchandise for sale - everyone in our family walked away with something Great to see a Star Wars actor too, his Q&A was really interesting I really hope they keep running these events.

I've written up a bit of a report here - http://swnz.dr-maul.com/index.php#20140428
I too hope to see these continue locally (the last was 3 months ago, so hopefully the organisers can maintain that tempo).

Re: Pop Kultcha 4
Hey Matt, great to see you guys again
I had a great time helping with the AV setup providing some promo videos for Mr Sumner and Tama (The event Organiser).
It was my first time working in After Effects and I have to say, it's a great tool for doing quick and easy Star Wars-like effects.
I talked to Peter for a wee bit and he came across as being a really nice and humble guy. He really admires us Star Wars fans and really enjoyed what we had done to make him feel welcome in little old NZ.
I asked if he would be keen to return and he said most definitely seeing as he's based in Sydney and was even talking about doing a Armageddon if not this year then possibly next.
It's always nice to meet a living legend of the Star Wars universe
