A new toy. This 1:1 TFA stormtrooper helmet is actually a bluetooth speaker, from Camino Audio. Review and details coming to http://www.SWNZ.co.nz next week.

Checked out Palmy on the Friday, rolled the dice on Farmers as I knew they had the 6" for $19.99, waited outside before they opened at 9am. Started panicking at 9:05 when the doors weren't open but finally got first pick. Checked out toyworld, even with the 20% off it came down to normal retail then headed to The Warehouse for major disappointment. I wonder if Yoda and Obi are going to be in the new movie as they are back in the 3.75"

My wife and I have been going through some really rough times recently so a friend in Idaho went to his local Target and sent over His 'n' Hers porgs for us!!!

It's brightened my day immensely! I foresee a lot of porg cuddles in our future  I really hope these guys reach NZ shelves because they'll be a huge hit. Although our kitten Kylo doesn't care for their noises...

Haven't purchased much recently, but got a wicked deal on this guy (using a Mighty Ape $10 Off voucher that they send when you don't order from them for ages) and couldn't resist adding him to my 2-1B focus collection.

Probably going to get some hate for this but....
Recently I started using Aliexpress, I came across a building block brand called Lepin. If Lego is 10/10 then Lepin would be 8/10. Very impressed, set turned up in cardboard box with all pieces, instructions and stickers. Had heaps of fun putting together and would recommend to any one who wants a UCS but can't afford the Lego prices.

That Tantive IV looks grand. No hate from me.

The price of LEGO at home and abroad is way too much for my wallet. I picked up the UCS Lepin Sandcrawler 75059 earlier this year off AliExpress. Landed it for $160 NZ. Superb piece, great fun building it and even the minifigs are right up to spec vs Lego equivalent (that sells for $800 NZ)

Very cool was thinking of the slave 1 to do over Christmas but that sandcrawler looks pretty enticing. I do spend a heap on Lego, mainly for my son, at the moment best you can do with Lego is 20% off sales or Farmers when they reduce to clear. Off topic Lego I have picked up a few of the 80's dimensions characters they are cool Mr T, Michael Knight.

Most of my collection is in storage back in NZ right now, but I do have a nice little Solo-themed shelf going on in my Houston home...

Nice, Arc. I haven't seen any of the troopers in person, yet, but snagged the speeder, Q'ira and Enfys Nest with her swoop. They're beautifully detailed little figures, even as limited as the articulation is, and I love the vehicles. I wish the Solo toy line was deeper. It seems like we'll have to wait till wave 4 hits before we get to most of the stuff I want.
