Just a headsup on this book. Forbidden planet in the UK is fulfilling orders a full six weeks early on this book, so it appears it's shipping out to some retailers sooner than expected.

No word yet on whether Amazon will get it early but, if you have the means, it might be worth front loading the visa just to be sure. I hope they don't, personally, as I still need time to save up the cash! If they charge it today I won't be able to cover the bill.

Same here! Very exciting! It looks like they're honouring the shipping price. What a steal! Now, fingers crossed it doesn't get walloped with duty when it arrives in NZ. :woot: :woot: :woot:

Just got the call. Duty and GST was $134. Grumble, grumble, but not too bad I guess. At least the amazing shipping deal took the sting out of that a bit and I can probably claim some of it back. Delivery is expected tomorrow.

Mine arrived in black shrink wrap.
It hadn't even been opened by customs. I must have been lucky, I didn't stung for any duty...

She's a thing of beauty all right.

So I'm guessing there are at least 3 copies in NZ, mine is the unsigned LE version.
What is your investment Reverend & Anaria?

We got the unsigned version also.

I tried to take a few photos with action figures as a size reference, to convey how large it is...

No, not much in the way of costumes. Mostly sets, vehicles and props. Robots get some coverage, but the only costume pieces are Vader and Boba Fett (IIRC).
