Death Star Battle

Post by MattG »

I got my latest Star Wars computer game in the post during the week...'Return of the Jedi: Death Star Battle'!!

Fly the Millennium Falcon in a shoot-em up against the Death Star. State-of-the-art 8-bit graphics (for 1983).

Check out the TV commercial (for the console version) :)

It's addictive for a while, but does eventually get a little repetitive though...every time you destroy the Death Star, another one appears. Ah well, the working game cartridge is a collectible item in its own right at least.

Ahhh ... the good ol'd days of proper games, rather than the multitude of mostly 3D Doom clones we get these days. :)

I've still got the original disks for the three Original Trilogy games on the Amiga, but no Amiga computer any more.
