Yuuzhan Vong... uh, what?

Post by Harvey Mushman »

Sure, as a purist, I'm not exactly what you'd call a fan of the EU; but, really, this just doesn't seem like the Wars to me. It feels more like, dare I say it, Star Trek.

Am I the only one who feels like this?

I hear ya bro, there are a fair few EU races and individual characters that are just pure cheesey badness.

These characters are just more science fiction than science fantasy, is all.

Yeah, I tend to agree there. It's probably the reason why the NJO-era material is the stuff I find myself least drawn to.

On the other hand the Legacy series of novels really felt like a return to form for the franchise.
