New Zealand Celebrates International Star Wars Day with a Theatrical Marathon of All Six Films

February 12, 2014 – In celebration of the global Star Wars fan holiday, May the 4th, all six films from the epic space saga will be returning to movie theatres in Digital 2D across New Zealand on May 3rd and May 4th, 2014. “May the 4th Be With You” is the official Star Wars holiday created for the fans, by the fans, to celebrate their love of the galaxy far, far away.

On Saturday, May 3rd, the following movies will be shown:
Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace
Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones
Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith

On Sunday, May 4th, the following movies will be shown:
Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope
Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi

Single-day tickets will be available for either Episodes I-III and/or Episodes IV-VI. Location details and session times for the “Star Wars May the 4th Be With You” Movie Marathon will be announced at a future date.

Actually I did think later that a true "marathon" should be an event of the entire Star Wars universe - all the novels and comics (read by someone or the audio versions), all the TV shows, all the movies, all the games, etc. in proper chronological order.
