I grabbed all the references in the Rebels Recon and the video snippets within it that I could. Spoilers immediately if you click the link but a handy guide for anyone wanting a head's up on ship models and what the next season might encompass. A few character sheets on there as well.

Some big, cool plot developments in the first episode...there seems to be a really well conceived story unfolding.

Finally got around to watching S2 E1. That is such a fantastic story, there were a lot of call backs to the original trilogy for me. I wasn't completely sold on S1 (I don't think I even saw every episode), but this season opened with a bang. The power of Vader was most impressive, showing his strength / power as a Sith Lord more than in any other on screen performance.

I just wish I had more SW fans at work to rave about this with. I guess I'll just keep talking to myself.

yeah the show is definitely developing nicely we are looking forward to S2. I think they're doing a good job at portraying an alliance of different rebel groups, nicely done!

Well, I was looking forward to picking up the full season 1 on Blu-Ray, which comes with the 'Siege of Lothal' episode as well as lots of extras, but apparently Aus, NZ, and the UK will only be getting the DVD version (which has less extras). Full report here: http://www.starwars7news.com/2015/07/st ... allia.html

If anyone else is motivated to convey their disappointment at this, there is some contact information here: http://thecantina.starwars7news.com/ind ... -ray.1973/

It's the fact that the blu-ray has additional extras conveniently bundled that disappoints me :(
BONUS FEATURES (DVD):
Rebels Recon: 14 behind-the-scenes featurettes
Star Wars Rebels – The Ultimate Guide [Season One Recap Special]
Star Wars Rebels Season 2 – A Look Ahead
BONUS FEATURES (BLU-RAY):
Rebels Infiltrates Star Wars Celebration
Season One shorts: ‘The Machine in the Ghost,’ ‘Art Attack,’ ‘Entanglement,’ ‘Property of Ezra Bridger’
All DVD Bonus Features
