I didn't think Kanan could "look" at all now

Too soon?

Pffft! (sound of spat tea hitting my screen)

That's terrible, but I can't stop cracking up.

There's a ton of awesome stuff in this S3 trailer, well beyond just the appearance of Thrawn.

For me the Imperial Mando's are the story I want to see more of.

I understand that people are losing their *censored* very excited about Thrawn, but I still haven't read the books so it doesn't do it for me.*

But seeing Sabine hold the darksaber, or the return of the battle droids, even everyone falling out the back of Ghost (seriously everyone seems to). It's all really exciting!

*I understand I may be required to hand in my SWNZ membership card with this admission :(

I think this is interesting not just because of the character per se, but the precedent it sets for the re-canonisation to this level of significant elements from the Legends EU.

Also interesting that Thrawn is being voiced by the brother of the actor behind Galen Erso.

That really looks like the Outrider (or similar model Corellian freighter).

Family dinners at the Mikkelsen place will be interesting.
"I'm in a Star Wars movie"
"So what, I'm Thrawn"
